New Partner

2011 Employee of the Year – Debbie Harper, CPA
Debbie is a three time recipient of this award, which is a record at LSL. Debbie greatly enjoys her work at LSL and you can see it daily in the determination and passion she exhibits in making LSL the best it can be. For this, and many other qualities, Debbie was admitted as a Partner in the firm beginning in January 2012. Debbie is looking forward to the new challenges that lie ahead.

2011 Rookie of the Year – Trevor Agrelius
Trevor graduated from the University of La Verne in 2008 and has proven to be an exceptional staff in our municipal department. With his positive attitude and willingness to help out whenever he can, it's no wonder his peers voted him New Employee of the Year. Keep up the good work!

New managers
In July 2011, Erika Aaron was promoted to manager in the automotive department. She has been with LSL for over 9 years and has been an asset to the firm, assisting in audits of automotive dealerships, local governments and employee benefit plans. CONGRATULATIONS!

Employee of the Year
At the conclusion of each year, an employee of the year is selected by a vote of the LSL staff. The purpose of this award is to recognize the outstanding performance of a staff member, as recognized by his or her peers.

2010 Employee of the Year - Sam Graciano, CPA
Sam is a proud graduate of Cal State Fullerton—Go Titans! She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration in 1999 and will be receiving her Master of Arts in Taxation from Cal State Fullerton in 2011. Sam greatly enjoys her work at LSL because it enables her to do what she loves doing best—helping people and doing it well. While the area of taxation can be challenging and mind-numbing in its complexity, knowing that she can make a difference by being the taxpayer's advocate keeps Sam going through the madness of tax season. Sam is looking forward to 2011, whatever the tax laws may be!

Rookie of the Year
The Rookie of the Year award, as voted by LSL employees, is presented to an employee hired within the last 18 months who has demonstrated exceptional ability and enthusiasm.
