Education
Dave graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973.  In 1974, he obtained his Masters degree in business administration (MBA), also from USC. While attending USC, he achieved Dean's list honors each semester. Dave is also a member of the national honor society Beta Gamma Sigma.

Experience
David worked two years in private industry before entering the public accounting profession in 1977. He became a CPA in 1980 and started his own practice in 1983. In 1993, Dave merged his practice into the firm and became a partner at that time.

Dave specializes in small business clients and income taxation, with a special emphasis in estate planning and financial planning services. He obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1988, and the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2005.

Professional Organizations
Dave is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He has made numerous presentations before various business groups relating to changes in the tax laws. Dave has written articles on taxation for various publications and is also a member of the tax division of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
