An individual at this level is expected to:
Have technical proficiency in areas of the firm’s practice from which the person has developed (Tax, Audit, Accounting, Municipal, Automotive, etc.).  They should demonstrate the  ability to apply the numerous tax, audit and accounting principles and techniques in the engagements to which assigned,  utilize the firm’s established procedures in an efficient manner, assist with partners and managers in developing solutions and new approaches, utilize the various computer software effectively and strive to become a CPA by working to pass the examination.

  • Supervise the various engagements to which assigned by planning, monitoring and reviewing engagements in order to complete them timely and completely.  This would include coordinating with the clients, monitoring and assessing staff relations abilities and coordinating and cooperating with other sections of the firm.
  • Show leadership which would include forward thinking, organization skills, setting a good example, representing the firm appropriately and having a take charge attitude.
  • Develop clients by participate in firm promotional events and looking for ways to maintain and develop new clientele.
  • Possess motivational skills which include the ability to strive to satisfy clients, to complete tasks timely and efficiently, be a take charge person, be a self starter, take on extra responsibilities when needed, give whatever time it takes to get projects done on time and be willing and anxious to take on special projects.
